Frequently asked questions

What are the hours of the program?

The program begins at 9 and concludes at 12 pm. We encourage you to show up a little early to allow enough time to go through check in before the program starts.

What ages can attend your program?

Our program is for kids ages 4-12. Some 4 year olds may find the program overwhelming if they have not been around large groups of kids before. 

How much does it cost?

Our Kidztown Summer Adventure program is free. We will have t-shirts available for purchase while supplies last. 100% of t-shirts sales go to support La Center Church's children's ministries.

I have a special needs child, what should I know before registering?

We typically have over 150 kids participate in our program and at times it can be very loud when everyone is singing and dancing. If this is something your child may find overwhelming, you are welcome of accompany your child and take them to a quiet place If they are feeling overwhelmed at any time during the program. 

How do you handle food allergies?

If your child has food allergies or sensitivities, please note them on their registration so we can notify our snack team. Every day we provide snack options (such as dairy or gluten free) for those with allergies. You are also welcome to send a snack from home for your child to eat at snack time.

Does my child have to attend the program every day?

No, your child does not have to attend every day, but we encourage you to preregister so we can ensure we have enough supplies prepared for the days they do attend. If you know ahead of time which days your child will not be attending, we do appreciate the notice. 

What happens if we arrive late or I have to pick up my child early?

If you come in after our assembly time please check in with the church office. At that time we will check in you child to the program and escort them to their group activity. If you need to pick up your child early, please come to the office so we can lead you to their group and check them out of the program.
