Praying the psalms: Taking in God’s Glory
Pastor Clyde introduced us to a Psalm of Lament in Psalm 73 where Asaph laments what seems like injustice. The wicked are prosperous and healthy when the righteous seem to have struggles in their lives. He stated, “all in vain I have kept my heart clean.” But his prayer of lament turns to trust in God’s justice. As we explore Psalm 13 this morning we will explore another prayer of lament when David feels forgotten. In this state he cries out to God and then confesses his trust.

Cheer On Pastor Mike
As an unexpected honor our pastor has been chosen to be the Grand Marshal for the Our Days Parade this Friday evening at 8 pm. During his time here Pastor Mike has led our church to be an active part of our community and this service is being recognized.

Next Sunday at noon we will have our next Discover Your Place luncheon. During our time together we will discuss who we are as a church, our history, what we believe and how we function. This is a first step towards membership. Let us know you can come.
